Labareda, Brazil - Single Origin ESPRESSO
Caramel Popcorn • fudge • butterscotch• roasted hazelnuts
Labereda is our go-to coffee and the cornerstone of some of our most popular coffees. Hailing from Bom Jesus in the Alta Mogiana region, north of Sao Paulo, the coffee is meticulously grown and picked by Gabriel and Flavia, who have a deep-rooted history with the farm. Gabriel's family has been cultivating coffee at Bom Jesus since the early 1800s, and their expertise shines through in the consistently delicious and exceptional fruit they produce.
Whether you enjoy it with milk or as a short or long black, Labereda stands out as a versatile and enjoyable coffee. It's perfectly roasted for espresso and pairs exceptionally well with milk due to its low acidity profile, resulting in a smooth and approachable coffee experience.
In 2013, the Alta Mogiana region was officially recognized by the INPI (Industrial Property National Institute) as one of the most traditional areas for coffee production in Brazil. The Storehouse Roastery takes pride in supporting GIMA, a philanthropic project dedicated to meeting the basic needs of children in rural communities where this coffee is cultivated. When you purchase a bag of this coffee, you contribute to supporting GIMA's charitable efforts in the region
